We're looking for a dynamic Deputy to the Head of Stores to be a key partner in delivering on our retail strategy, and play a significant role in enabling our store teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve performance targets.
As Deputy, you'll be our Head of Stores' key partner in execution, being the expert in the 'how' and the 'when'. As a champion of efficiency, smart thinking and great communication, your goal is to advance the quality and performance of all retail activity for the overall benefit, confidence and performance of the whole team. You'll serve as the primary operational representative within our store retail team, leading project rollouts and driving excellence across comms, training, systems and cross-functional collaboration.

It'll be your job to add value by:
- Supporting the Head of Stores in delivering strategic retail enhancements that drive customer experience, team capability and confidence, and commercial performance
- Supporting with the design and roll-out of a training programme that empowers our store teams to be (and feel) excellent in delivering customer experience, using tech, systems and processes, driving commercial performance, picking up new initiatives and acting as passionate, confident ambassadors of the Busby & Fox brand
- Designing a plan to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and engagement of communications with our stores, and delivering a program of regular comms against this plan
- Supporting commercial alignment and meaningful communication between head office and store teams, and ensuring that store comms align with wider business and brand messages
- Building and nurturing strong cross-functional partnerships with design, buying and merchandising, marketing, e-commerce, people, finance and operations teams to enable top-rate store performance and operational execution at every level
- Being a leader, in some cases, or a senior contributor in others, on the project management and executional rollout of retail-specific technology/platforms (for example, POS and inventory management), driving seamless user adoption and cross-functional alignment, in particular with our operations and omnichannel teams.
- In partnership with our operations team and other key stakeholders, driving excellence across all aspects of store operations, from floor layout optimisation and inventory control to health & safety, data compliance and loss prevention.
- Acting as an executional stakeholder and ‘stores champion’ for retail operations within large cross-functional projects (including new store openings), marketing campaigns, eCom/omnichannel initiatives and any other key projects that may be delivered in (or felt by) our stores.

JUNIOR DESIGNER

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Junior Designer to design and develop own-label womenswear, footwear and accessories that make head-to-toe outfit building effortless, with every piece blending seamlessly into the collection.
This role balances the creative elements of product design and development with data-driven insights to ensure alignment with our business goals and customer preferences. You’ll collaborate closely with our Buyer to ensure the range is innovative and trend aware while also meeting critical commercial requirements – creating collections that are wearable, blendable and unmistakably Busby & Fox.

It'll be your job to add value by:
Product design & development
- Designing beautiful, commercially successful and thoughtfully developed ranges that make it easy for customers to create blendable, head-to-toe looks
- Collaborating with the Head of Product, Buyer and wider product team to refresh signature styles and design new bestsellers that fit seamlessly with the rest of the collection
- Preparing moodboards, design packs and prototypes that capture brand identity and highlight the outfit-building potential of every piece.
Customer insight & trend application
- Understanding the diverse needs and mindsets of our customer base, ensuring that products not only stand alone but also slot easily into their existing wardrobes.
- Researching market trends, competitor activity and cultural shifts, and turning these into design choices that strengthen our “everything goes with everything” promise.
- Gathering and acting on feedback from stores, online channels and customer reviews to guarantee consistent fit, feel and outfit versatility.
Collaboration & process
- Partnering with merchandising and buying to ensure ranges are both desirable and blendable, maximising outfit-building opportunities as well as profitability
- Working hand-in-hand with the garment technologist and production team through fittings, gold seals and final approvals, ensuring products meet spec, budget and deadlines

Supporting cross-functional collaboration with marketing and creative colleagues so that collections are presented in ways that inspire customers to style full looks with ease.
Innovation & continuous improvement

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager (or Assistant Store Leader, as we call them in our business) to act as right-hand support to the Store Leader in our new Bath store (target opening December) by providing exceptional service to every customer, instinctively understanding their needs and how to fulfil them; passionately contributing to the store’s commercial success; and overseeing and inspiring our Retail Assistants to offer a consistently brilliant Busby & Fox experience.
We're open to discussing full-time (5 days per week) and part-time roles (3 or 4 days per week)

- Acting as right-hand person to your Store Leader, supporting them in driving your store to new levels of success
- Overseeing the store while your Store Leader isn’t there, acting as custodian of the stock, the caretaker of the team, and the leader when it comes to sales and performance
- Helping to train and develop the rest of the team in all areas of customer experience, sales, styling, products and brand knowledge
- Instinctively identifying what each customer wants and needs, helping them to find what they're looking for (with our top-to-toe styling ethos at the forefront of all interactions) and making sure that each one leaves your store feeling like they've had a positive experience
