We're looking for an experienced Merchandiser to drive commercial success by passionately balancing product, performance, and customer delight. You’ll plan, trade and execute profit-driving ranges that are a perfect mix of top-quality product, quantity, time and price, ensuring every collection truly embodies our brand purpose to capture our customers' hearts. A key part of this is working hand-in-hand with the wider Product team, using your data-driven insights to make every penny count and align the creative excitement of product selection with our core business goals. You’ll be the Product team’s expert in channel management, ensuring both our stores and online platforms have the optimal balance of stock and availability for our customer, and providing insightful data to support strategic decision making and ensure brand progress.

It'll be your job to add value by:
Planning, forecasting and trading
- Managing the product lifecycle from initial planning through to final sales
- Shaping and balancing the range in collaboration with colleagues across design and buying
- Strategically trading our ranges to ensure we maximise sales opportunities and never disappoint our customers
- Analysing periodic trading reports for key meetings
- Managing continuity lines and ensuring repeats and top-up orders are placed at the right time
- Maintaining open-to-buy and assortment tools with accurate data to support ongoing forecasting, communicating opportunities and challenges as they appear
- Support cashflow with accurate open-to-buy management, managing and tracking the department budget with the support of the finance department
- Identifying, planning, managing, executing and reporting on promotional activity

Working with the marketing and buying teams to ensure stock availability supports the marketing strategy and activity.
Channel management
- Executing accurate and timely allocations with the support of the wider team
- Reviewing and implementing store feedback, managing store assortments to meet space and grading needs
- Creating store packages reflective of space, location, position and profile
- Managing and utilising online space, capitalising on online exclusive ranges and trialling strategies
- Continuously managing stock levels in stores and online, facilitating recalls and redistribution of stock to tactically maximise sales opportunities.
Product collaboration
- Working in collaboration with the buying and design teams to supply them with accurate historical sales data (across colour, fabric, size and price, for example) to inform future ranges
- Creating option plans and flows to support the design and buying teams with range planning and buy quantities
- Working with the Buyer to identify opportunities in pricing to support margin gain
- Presenting insights and communicating across teams in a concise, easy-to-understand way
- Supporting and, where appropriate, confidently leading product meetings with key stakeholders.

JUNIOR DESIGNER

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Junior Designer to design and develop own-label womenswear, footwear and accessories that make head-to-toe outfit building effortless, with every piece blending seamlessly into the collection.
This role balances the creative elements of product design and development with data-driven insights to ensure alignment with our business goals and customer preferences. You’ll collaborate closely with our Buyer to ensure the range is innovative and trend aware while also meeting critical commercial requirements – creating collections that are wearable, blendable and unmistakably Busby & Fox.

It'll be your job to add value by:
Product design & development
- Designing beautiful, commercially successful and thoughtfully developed ranges that make it easy for customers to create blendable, head-to-toe looks
- Collaborating with the Head of Product, Buyer and wider product team to refresh signature styles and design new bestsellers that fit seamlessly with the rest of the collection
- Preparing moodboards, design packs and prototypes that capture brand identity and highlight the outfit-building potential of every piece.
Customer insight & trend application
- Understanding the diverse needs and mindsets of our customer base, ensuring that products not only stand alone but also slot easily into their existing wardrobes.
- Researching market trends, competitor activity and cultural shifts, and turning these into design choices that strengthen our “everything goes with everything” promise.
- Gathering and acting on feedback from stores, online channels and customer reviews to guarantee consistent fit, feel and outfit versatility.
Collaboration & process
- Partnering with merchandising and buying to ensure ranges are both desirable and blendable, maximising outfit-building opportunities as well as profitability
- Working hand-in-hand with the garment technologist and production team through fittings, gold seals and final approvals, ensuring products meet spec, budget and deadlines

Supporting cross-functional collaboration with marketing and creative colleagues so that collections are presented in ways that inspire customers to style full looks with ease.
Innovation & continuous improvement
- Exploring fabrics, prints, trims and sustainable production techniques that elevate the outfit-building possibilities of the range
- Reviewing post-season performance and lessons learnt to refine how well collections work together, ensuring future ranges continue to deliver effortless styling potential
